  Tithing
During Sunday worship, our ushers collect weekly offerings and tithes from the congregation. These offerings are used for various ministries including Benevolence, Outreach, Building and Grounds, Discipleship, Finance, Memorial, Service, BPCCM, Worship, Fellowship, and Administration. Building and Grounds Fund
We at Bethany are very proud of the history of our church and our beautiful building and make every attempt to keep the building and grounds in excellent condition. Recently, we installed a playground for children on our premise. The funds that we used to build this playground were made possible through the generous donations from our congregation. We welcome monetary contributions to our Building and Grounds ministry. The next big project is to replace the old, leaky slate roof shingles that are deteriorating. Missionaries
We at Bethany have set a high priority to missions. One particular missionary we are supporting is Christian Lee, who is helping to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in South East Asia.
 Donating Items
Bethany welcomes donations and contributions of all kinds which helps to run the various ministries, encourage fellowship among members, and to continue the good stewardship of our building and grounds. In the past, members have donated such items as furniture and electronic equipment. Members often donate meals to be served for lunch after the service each Sunday. We also have a community yard sale each year, where we encourage our congregation to bring used items for sale for this event. All proceeds are donated to a charitable organization. In 2005 the proceeds were donated to Neighbors Helping Neighbors, an organization of the Bloomfield Human Services. Upon request, we provide receipts for tax purposes for all donated items to the church. Please refer to Contact Us if you are interested in making a contribution.
 Donating Service and Time
Many are called to serve God by donating their time and energy. Many members serve through participating in such activities as painting and cleaning. Others participate through various ministry teams such as Welcoming, Building and Grounds, Communications, or serve as servant leaders in the Board of Deacons or in the Session which is the governing body of the church. Others are involved in helping the needy through visitations and volunteer work. Please refer to Contact Us if you are interested in getting involved through service.
